An assessment of high-quality education The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) is a triennial survey administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. It assesses 15-year-olds abilities in reading, mathematics, and science in 81 countries. The 2022 PISA results ranked the province of Alberta, Canada, second in reading, second in science, and seventh in mathematics globally. The province of Alberta ranked first in reading, first in science, and second in mathematics within Canada.
