Blyth Academy,  The Canadian School in Qatar celebrates Canada’s selection for the FIFA World Cup ’22
Last night in Toronto, Canada defeated Jamaica to win the Concacaf World Cup Qualifying tournament and a place in the World Cup ’22 in Qatar.
Today, H.E. The Canadian Ambassador Stefanie McCollum joined a celebration with the students and faculty at the school raising Canadian and Qatar flags for the occasion.
Team Canada defeated both the USA and Mexico to capture its place at the World Cup for the first time in 36 years.
Blyth Academy, the Canadian School of Qatar is accredited by the Ministry of Education in Qatar and the Province of Alberta, Canada and has more than 450 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
